Child Struck on Fairvista Dr.

On St. Patrick’s Day , Tuesday March 17, a child riding his bicycle was involved in a auto-bicycle collision around 6pm. He was taken to CMC with non-life threatening injuries.   The boy was riding on Fairvista Drive;  a very residential loop around the Highland Creek Golf Course.  The road has traffic calming speed bumps.  The two-way road has no divider or center line.  The conditions were wet and foggy in the morning but conditions were near perfect by 6pm.   I hope the boy has a full recovery and is back riding in no time.

The Observer had the story buried in a piece about other traffic accidents.  There were plenty others, including the two CMS school buses that got too close.
